I had some really serious, and some not so serious, stuff to blog about today - all kinds of twinkly, sparkly stuff about the wonders of the blogosphere and the odd frisson of nasty worry over Child Two, who has suddenly developed a temperature ....but instead, I'm going to make you sit down and watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjWtRYaxmWM
Don't be put off by the bit saying 'Full length movie' - it's not a movie, it's just a couple of minutes, and it'll make you cry hot blurry tears and feel full of fuzzy love for all man- and creature-kind. It's just adorable.

Awww, that is so sweet. Thanks for sharing :)
I was only reading an article about this the other day and had seen the footage a while ago - but it is fantastic to see again. Thank you (she says, as she is booting her cats off the kitchen work surface - sorry, you're not big enough to be adorable reabilitated lions, you are just a pain in the neck tonight, under my feet constantly and YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN FED!!!)
Hope Child Two is recovering.
The video is touching indeed. I watched the documentary not long ago and found the Sixties London footage utterly fascinating.
Thanks for that, tears rolling down my face and I have to go to work any minute (didn''t think I'd cry!!!)
Hope No.2 is ok
Still mopping up the mascara!
Oh dulwich Divorcee, I'd surely watch it sometime. & thank you for visiting my blog! Please do come back again and tell me if you like my latest post :)
#2 son has just come in to find me sitting blubbing in front of the computer. So I showed him. And then he cried too. *sob*
Lovely lovely lovely
Makes a dull rainy day all warm and fuzzy!
I've seen this one before - and I blubbed then, so I didn't think I would this time, but guess what?? I am totally awash with tears!! What is it that makes us cry like that? I think it may take me all day to get over this one. Thanks DD! In the meantime, hope little one is feeling better x
That is amazing - I had to watch it several times. That lion's body language just exudes elation at seeing them again. What a wonderful story.
Just mentioned this in my blog post and did a link. Am still blubbing now!
This is so sweet... thank god I am on a no mascara day! :)
Hello just popped over from Maternal Tales. I have seen this and it makes me shiver and cry too! Thanks for the reminder.
Oh my goodness that was gorgeous. I had to watch it twice and then I had to nick it to post while I'm away next week as it made me feel so good I had to share.
Hope child two is ok. x
